The Austin Virtual Cyber Summit is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for all participants, regardless of background, identity, or experience level. This Code of Conduct applies to all event spaces including Zoom sessions, chat, networking breakouts, and any communication connected to the event.

The following will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without notice:

Speaker Content

All speakers are responsible for ensuring their content is appropriate for a public audience and complies with applicable laws, their employer's policies, and any NDAs or confidentiality obligations. Presenting unpublished vulnerability research, uncoordinated disclosures, confidential data, or any legally sensitive content is strictly prohibited. Austin Virtual Cyber Summit and its organizer assume no liability for speaker content.

Enforcement

The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant or speaker from the event at any time for any violation of this Code of Conduct, without obligation to provide a refund (not applicable as the event is free) or explanation.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all participants — attendees, speakers, and the organizer — for the duration of the event and in any related communications. By registering or submitting to speak, you agree to abide by these standards.
